things i’m looking forward to

I’m looking forward to…

  •  having fun at a “cousins camp” today and Saturday with all my cousins on my dad’s side 😉
  • Summer/church camp
  • Rachel Coker’s Dream Factory Workshop
  • upcoming blog posts: pictures of my trip, my first e-ARC review, book slumps, and MG vs. YA (!!)
  • the next episode of When Calls the Heart, which I am obsessing over
  • the next scene in my WIP, whatever it is! (I’m completely in the dark here. Somebody please tell my characters to get moving and tell me what happens next!)
  • the pile of library books I have to read
  • My piano recital Sunday (sort of. I just have to let the nerves not get to me!)
  • sleep when I get home from everything I’ll be doing within the next two weeks. (that would be all of the above)
  • Camp NaNoWriMo in July (hopefuly!)
  • the next letter from my pen pal (I’m always looking forward to this)
  • sleepovers with my cousins (there are dozens in the summertime!)
  • jumping into a pool in a few hours… summer always comes early in Georgia! (read: it is HOT.)
  • catching up on Latin oops wrong list.

What are you looking forward to this summer?

Emily

  1. Oh, I’m looking forward to all the usual things. Reading, blogging, spending time at the library and with my friends, and avoiding sunlight as much as possible. 🙂 I hope you have an awesome summer!

  2. Sweet list Emily! 😀 😀 I bet your going to make Brooke blush. 😉

I really want to look more into Camp NaNoWriMo! It sounds like so much fun and I really want to take the plunge into it! There’s so many things that I’m excited for! There’s swimming, family BBQ’s (or in my case a carne asada’s basically an amazing version of a Mexican BBQ. 😛 ) I’m looking forward to letter from my pen pals as well, also meeting up with family, and getting to travel buckets this summer. I’m excited that I’m finally writing my book idea that’s been swimming around in my head for a while, and also writing! more more more WRITING!! heehee, I’m also really happy that I got my new blog design/Blog button/ Header finished!!

    1. OH and I didn’t know you played piano. I do too! I started when I was 8, but i stopped for a while, but im just starting back up. What do you play? I play a couple of songs, and I also learned how to play pompeii by bastille, and also the let it go song. I also really want to learn how to play jazz on the piano! And what cousin camp?

  3. Cool. We do cousin camp too! 🙂
You play piano? What kinds of things do you play? I play it to, but I’m not so good at it….and I don’t really like to practice, and don’t practice often. That may be part of it! Haha 🙂

  4. Have fun at the Dream Factory Workshop with Rachel! I am so looking forward to your recap, and I’m sure you’ll have a fabulous time there. You should definitely do Camp NaNoWriMo. I did it in April and I had an absolutely fabulous cabin that made me like Camp NaNo way more than the original NaNoWriMo. For some reason I just really love the whole structure of the cabins, which the original NaNoWriMo does not have. I’m doing Camp NaNo again with the same cabin, and I am so excited! If we don’t completely fill up our cabin (we did last time, but I’m not sure how many other people are actually joining in this time around) and you don’t have one, you’re always welcome! I hope you have fun with it no matter what!
