currently… // lists

As promised, I have some lists for you today! I haven’t done a “currently” list post in a while, so I thought I’d do that today.

Currently loving:

  • Hopefully starting To Kill A Mockingbird soon, with my mom. πŸ™‚
  • Re-Reading The Main Street series by Ann M. Martin (my FAVORITE childhood series, especially reading it in the fall and winter. I can’t explain why, but the books are so nostalgic and familiar, they’re just… cozy, like fall and winter!)

  1. Currently posts are always fun, aren’t they??
How are you listening to unreleased songs? That’s pretty cool! πŸ˜› I haven’t heard any of those songs but you know how much I love music! I’m about to spend an hour or so looking up those songs!! πŸ˜› THAT PHONE CASE THOUGH!! ITS SO CUTE!
I can’t wait for fall either!! It still feels a lot like summer in Washington, so I’m not preparing for that, quite yet! Not for another month and a half or so, anyway.
November 6th is your birthday? Cool! That’s my parents anniversary. πŸ˜›
Haha, I’m pretty sure your going to make Brooke blush!! She’s convinced its our life mission to make her blush! (you haven’t told her about our meetings about that, have you??)
How are you liking since you’ve been gone? πŸ˜€

    1. THEY ARE! πŸ˜€
Unreleased songs will sometimes get leaked, if they’ve been recorded in the studio, but didn’t make the cut on the final album. I love Taylor’s older songs, so her older unreleased songs are my favorites! Do me a favor and look up “Dark Blue Tennessee.” It’s my favorite!!!
RIGHT?? I want it so bad.
Haha, it still feels like summer in Georgia… but the rain is cooling it off a little. Not by much. Usually it’s mid-September before it really cools off. I still can’t wait. I just love it so much! I get in the spirit of things a little early. πŸ˜‰
No… my birthday is September 11th. πŸ˜€ Lol. Happy early anniversary to your parents! My parents’ anniversary is October 5.
I decided to put it down. πŸ™ I didn’t like the drinking part, and it wasn’t really in my comfort zone. Well, I tried! I was really sad about it. But now I need to see if my library has HILY!

      1. Oh, thats too bad! Was it the drinking when she went to the Birthday party? When I got to those parts I was a bit nervous, wondering what would happen but nothing did, so I was happy. Oh well! Everyone has different comfort zones! And if the drinking bothered you, I should warn you that in HILY there’s a little bit of drinking but the main character is against it and is trying to get someone to stop. Just so you know!
I’ll keep that in mind when recommending a book now! πŸ˜€

        1. No, it was in the very beginning, at the orchard… oh, okay. Thanks for the warning. I think I might still give HILY a try, but I really don’t like those scenes. πŸ™

  2. I love currently posts. They give a little glimps into peoples life. That phone case is pretty cool. Don’t worry. I love to people watch too! How’s the pride and prejudice retelling? Which fariy tale novella are you talking about?
Soory about the letter. It turns out my grandpa does not have a lottle red flag so we will have to run it to town today. Though this letter has a lot to tell you so I sort of made up for its tardynes .
I can’t wait till fall either!

    1. Me, too. They’re fun. And I like making lists. πŸ™‚
I meant to start it, but I haven’t yet. I’ve been mainly focusing on the fairy tale. It’s not a retelling, it’s just my own little story. I’ll have to send it to you… I don’t know, I’m a little nervous. I’m not sure if it’s that good. πŸ˜› Aw. That stinks. Why doesn’t he have a red flag? Yep. It does make up for it! πŸ˜€

  3. I’m back!! I totally agree with you on The Main Street series so adorable and amazing!! YES!! Taylor Swifts older songs. My all time favorite is You Belong With Me. I literally listen to it every day.
I’m currently reading Second Chance Summer. We were in the car yesterday and I started crying, but then everyone started looking at me and I was just like what, I’m a softie, and its a really good book. I’ve always wanted to read it, and what better time to do it in the summer. So, I think, the best foods to go along with the book are ice cream, m&m ‘s, twizzler s and coke. What do you think? What else might be good?

    1. Yay! Hey, Trisha! I know! Not many people have read The Main Street series. OMG, YBWM is my second favorite. Right after The Story of Us. I love both of the music videos, too.
Aw, no worries. I was bawling, lol. I’ve really been wanting to re-read Second Chance Summer.
Those definitely sound like good comfort foods to go with the book! I’d also say chocolate chip cookies and milk. πŸ™‚
