You’re on a deserted island, and you find a cave. What would you expect to find in it? Bats? I’m not sure, that’s just the first thing that popped into my head. Hopefully gold. ‘Cause that would be awesome. As long as I had a big boat to take it home with me. I mean, do you KNOW how many books I would buy?!

If you could have one superpower, which would you pick? Be able to go inside a book. I wouldn’t want to bring a fictional character INTO our world, because I don’t want to scare my babies – reality is a cruel, cruel place, after all. And why would I want to stay here anyway?! Our world is so – so… blech. OR… invisibility. I am a sneaky sneaky person and I’d love to be a fly on a wall in some conversations. (To find out what I’m getting for my Christmas presents, hello.) AND freaking out people… I’ve got a few enemies I’d like to take my revenge on… mwahahaha.

What one song would you choose for the theme music for a movie about your life? Oh wow that’s a tough one. I love music, as you know. (I have quite the eclectic taste.) The first few songs that went through my mind were those of Michael Buble and Taylor Swift (my FAVORITE artists, so of course I’d love to have them sing about me on my movie.) (On a side note a movie about me would be the best movie ever.) But then I thought… a song about a boyfriend/girlfriend thing (EVEN THOUGH Tay has other songs and Mr. Buble has some amazing songs NOT about relationships)… the ultimate relationship I want to be remembered for is my relationship with God. And I think Britt Nicole’s song, All This Time, would be perfect for that.

You can only wear one color for the rest of your life. What color would you pick? Purple. With my brown hair and hazel (green, but closer to brown) I’ve always thought purple looked nice on me. Specifically a dark, fallish purple. 🙂

What’s one thing you want to do that’s wild, crazy, or unusual? Whoa whoa whoa! Calm down here. I am Emily. Queen Of The Worry Warts. I don’t do wild, crazy, or unusual. The closest I get to “wild” is maybe wanting to get into a food fight. ALTHOUGH… I have been thinking lately it would be neat to dye the tips of my hair pink. I could make it work. Margot from Epic Reads anyone? But who knows? Maybe someday I’ll get some gumption and do something crazy!

If you had to give a speech to the whole world in five minutes, what topic would it be about? You know a lot of politicians have the same personality type as me. I could maybe see myself pursuing some sort of political career if I didn’t think the famous life was so horrible. (It wouldn’t be for me, I really like my privacy.) One thing you may not know is that I have really strong feelings about certain topics… I wouldn’t know where to START. Five minutes?! More like five hours. Abortion, persecution, government policies… gosh, what WOULD I say??

You get to have lunch with any three famous people, who would they be? Marissa Meyer (’cause I’m reading her books and I need to give her a hug and let her know that I have fallen in love with her son Wolf) and Taylor Swift (because even though I’m not crazy about her newer songs I just think it would be awesome to say hi to her and then be able to tell everyone I know that I met Taylor Swift, because who doesn’t know who Taylor Swift is?!) annnnd… um… hmm. Bailee Madison? She’s pretty cute. Or Kiera Cass. I met her once but having lunch with her would be phenomenal. (Because I’m also in love with HER son Maxon.)

What is your favorite smell and why? Anything fallish. Pumpkins, cinnamon… my mom always burns lots of candles in our house during the fall and it smells like Heaven!
