  1. Haha. This post is hilarious! I love it! And yes, if I say a good is good it has to be true. Since I am a great bookworm and great bookworms have good taste.
But seriously this was so funny to read. And I can relate to most of it. But seriously a ton of good authors are german. Why am I not learning German? Lol.
And librarians are great. It would be fun to be one someday…. though I would probably rather work in a bookstore than a library.
I plan on starting Rose Under Fire today…. I really need to order a book or two( or maybe more…) today. And recommendations?

    1. Haha, thanks! It was a lot of fun to write. I should do more like them.
Lol! The funny thing is I honestly didn’t exaggerate this that much. I don’t *always* talk in caps and things like that, but several of these things have happened to me very recently! 😉
Same here. I could volunteer there or something… I wonder if that would count as community service for high school? Hmm.
Ooh okay. I need to start that one SOOOON! I keep putting it off, ugh. YES: order Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue. (You’ll want the second book, although if not it’s okay because they’re not really that bad of cliff-hangers.) And you need to get The Winner’s Crime soon! I’ll text you if I think of any more.

  2. Hey!
I love your blog and your taste in books!
I know you state that you will not read paranormal books but I pray that you will make an exception for the Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand.
It is about angels and fallen angels but not like the City of Bones series or anything like that. The Unearthly series is about a girl who’s mother was part angel, making herself part angel as well fulfilling her purpose in life. Saving lives, learning who she is and what she can really do. All in all it is different from any paranormal book I have ever heard about and is one of the only ones that I can bring myself to read.
So please, please, please try to consider reading it before saying outright no? If you do I would be eternally grateful!

    1. Hey Alyssa! Thank you so much! 🙂
Thanks for the recommendation. I’m really iffy on paranormal stuff, or even things with “unearthly” or not-human creatures, but I might be able to see what this one’s all about. I’ll think about it! I’m sure it’s great.

      1. Thank you! I really do believe you will love it. I know what you mean I usually do not end up reading it. And for the most part the main character looks totally human…except the wings she can summon and how she can sometimes glow because of what they call glory, and there is just a perfect story of love in it.

  3. Haha I can pretty much relate to all of these things XD Except reading in the car…that’s a big no-no for me I get car sick *sobs* can you imagine how terrible that is for me?! No reading in the car….on long car rides….and I have the hardest time concentrating on audio books….so yeah….

    Great post Emily!! =) <3
